Please help us keep Swap Dat Face a fun and safe space. If you upload content that goes against these rules, we may need to restrict your access.

By using Swap Dat Face, creating an account, or purchasing credits, you agree to follow the rules below.

0. Free & Paid Tiers

Free Tier

  • 3 photo swaps per 24 hours
  • No account required
  • 30 minute automatic deletion

Paid Credits

  • Account required
  • Unlocks GIF & Video swaps
  • Default 30 minute deletion
  • Optional extended retention (up to 30 days)

All tiers are subject to the same content rules.

1. Absolutely Prohibited Content

You must not upload any of the following.

1.1 Illegal Content

Anything unlawful in your country or ours. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual content or imagery involving minors
  • Exploitation or abuse of minors
  • Non consensual intimate imagery
  • Extremist or terrorist material
  • Violent pornography
  • Use of the platform to generate adult content, explicit content, or sexual material involving real individuals without verified consent
  • Content depicting or facilitating criminal activity
  • Material created through criminal acts
  • Content that violates copyright or intellectual property laws

Illegal uploads may be reported to the relevant authorities.

1.2 Non Consensual Face Swaps

You must not upload images of anyone without their permission if the resulting content could reasonably violate their privacy, dignity, or safety.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ex partners
  • Private individuals
  • Classmates or co workers
  • People in everyday, non public situations

If you do not have consent, do not upload it. This applies to both free and paid tiers.

1.3 Celebrities, Public Figures, and Influencers

Do not upload faces of celebrities, politicians, influencers, musicians, actors, athletes, or other recognisable public figures.

Even if images are publicly available, we do not allow the service to be used to alter or generate content involving people who have not provided explicit permission.

1.4 Deepfakes Intended for Harm

You must not create content that:

  • Impersonates someone
  • Misleads others into believing a fake image is real
  • Is intended for bullying, harassment, or defamation
  • Is used to deceive, manipulate, scam, or blackmail

Anything designed to cause harm or deception is not allowed.

1.5 NSFW and Nudity

We keep things family-friendly. Please do not upload or generate any NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content or nudity.

It's simply a rule we have to keep the platform safe, fun, and accessible for everyone.

We don't permit it, so please keep it clean!

2. Allowed Content

You may upload:

Images of yourself
Images of people who have given clear permission
Fictional characters, CGI faces, drawings, avatars, or AI generated faces
Family friendly, creative, or humorous edits that do not target or harm anyone

When in doubt, err on the side of respect and consent.

3. Third Party Rights

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. This includes:

  • Copyrighted photos you do not own or license
  • Professional photography without permission
  • Images from paid modelling or stock sites
  • Content from private social media accounts

If you upload an image, it must be yours to upload.

4. Behaviour Rules

Users must not:

Attempt to bypass safety or content filters
Automate uploads without permission
Probe, scrape, or abuse the system
Use the platform for harassment, stalking, or intimidation
Attempt to generate illegal or prohibited content through workarounds

We may restrict or block usage fingerprints associated with these behaviours.

Note: Usage fingerprints are short-lived browser hashes that expire automatically after 24 hours of inactivity. We store no PII, no biometric data, and no persistent identifiers. If you stop using the site, the system forgets you on its own.

4A. Paid Feature Abuse

Users may not:

  • Attempt to bypass credit usage limits
  • Abuse extended retention to store unrelated content
  • Resell access to the service
  • Attempt to extract model outputs at scale

Accounts engaging in abuse may be suspended without refund.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Block uploads from fingerprints that violate this policy
  • Remove content at any time
  • Suspend or restrict access where harmful use is suspected
  • Report illegal content to authorities

This includes removal of paid access and forfeiture of unused credits in cases of serious policy violation.

We do not need to provide prior notice in cases of clear abuse or legal risk.

6. No Claim of Accuracy or Endorsement

All face swap results are synthetic.

They do not represent real events, endorsements, or factual situations and must not be used in any context that suggests authenticity or truth.

7. Agreement

By using Swap Dat Face, you agree to this Content Policy.

If you disagree with any part of it, do not use the service.

8. Credits & Payments

  • Credits are non refundable except where required by law
  • Credits do not expire
  • Refund requests are reviewed on a case by case basis
  • Abuse or policy violations void refund eligibility
